Endotracheal Tubes

Endotracheal Tube

The endotracheal tube is mainly used for patients who cannot breathe autonomously or who need respiratory anesthesia during operation. The endotracheal tube is inserted into the specified depth through the oral cavity, and the insertion position can be determined by the x-ray detectable component on the tube under the irradiation of the x-ray machine. Connected to a ventilator, the endotracheal tube has various critical functions: helps deliver oxygen, removes obstruction in the trachea, visualizes the airway, and more.

Endotracheal tubes are also commonly used on patients who have blocked airway, strokes, overdoses, or massive bleeding from the esophagus or stomach, as well as premature babies.
